  • You posted every week (7 in total)
  • You posted 3500 words or more in total
  • Everything is in English including links
  • No breach of copyrights (you know what I mean)
  • You made it personal

Write a legal analysis based upon the following data:


On June the 2nd early in the morning Ying takes her car to ABAC, Hua Mak Campus. There will be a lecture on the Thai Constitution at 08:00. When she wants to leave her Soy to head for the Express Way entrance she doesn't notice work men trying to unload a piano the neighbours just bought. They are not being careful about it. They drop the piano on the hood of Ying's BMW Z3. Ying has minor injuries in the face and on her arms (front window was destroyed as well), but the car is a total loss. Moreover, she is in a total state of shock and is unable to pursue her studies. It will take her a few months to recover. As a result she is unable to do the final examinations.

The company who caused all this is not very willing to pay for damages. “Mai pen rai khrap”, they say. “The girl is still alive and Ying's family is insured for these situations.


What can you, as Ying's family lawyer do for them? B.t.w. You find out they haven’t taken care of a health insurance (social security only) for Ying nor do they have a 1st class car insurance (2nd class only). Use articles. Example cases can be added when useful.

Posting

I have left comments at most blogs. Not all because I simply don't have the time. I have registered 48 blogs so far (see last post). That means that I still have to receive 28 blog links! As of today of the 48 registered blogs about 85% have posts. Some blogs are really funny and or interesting!
This day you all should be at a 1000 words. Don't forget that and don't forget to use a spelling checker to correct your spelling. Some students clearly did not.

Cancelation of class

Next Monday morning I will be attending an ICT meeting. Therefore I will have to cancel my 09:30 till 11:00 class and my 11:00 till 12:30 class. Make-up class can be done on Monday afternoon or Wednesday. My apologies for any inconvenience.
